The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenging time for everyone, but the 3D Additive team has been staying socially distanced and healthy, and are adjusting well to ‘the new normal’. Discussions, presentations and regular project meetings have continued via Zoom, while Microsoft Teams and Basecamp have been invaluable at helping team members collaborate. Perhaps a silver lining to being cooped up at home has been the extra time available to analyse datasets and write up publications. We are also continuing to check in socially with each other on Zoom with morning teas and after-work catch-ups, where we have been able to meet a few family pets and admire each other’s talents for setting up smart backgrounds. We’re staying in good spirits and making the best of the situation.
